Niamh O’Dea

Intern

Niamh is one of the wonderful new interns at Code Studio’s Atlanta office. Originally from the UK, she relocated to Kansas City for her undergraduate studies, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Social Psychology. After graduating, Niamh worked in community mental health and hospital diversion. In this role, she aimed to bridge the gap between individuals and resources such as mental health support, housing, and other community services. She often observed how inadequate planning could worsen mental health symptoms and overall well-being. This experience motivated her to look deeper into urban planning, ultimately leading her to enroll at Georgia Tech.

Niamh is currently a student in the Master of City and Regional Planning Program at Georgia Tech, specializing in housing and community development. Niamh enjoys running, playing soccer, and exploring Atlanta by bike in her spare time.
